Reopening Radhadesh

by | May 28, 2020 | Community, English

Dear Radhadesh Devotees,

On Thursday 21st of May, for the duration of the 4 day long Ascension weekend we will therefore be “test” opening the Boutique, the Retreat Centre, the Bakery and the Temple room. If we get a sufficient amount of guests visiting Radhadesh and bringing in much needed funds into the temple & community, we will keep those areas open from that point onward. If however there aren’t sufficient guests, we will have to maintain the departments closed until the 8th of June at least (provisional date) which should normally be the date by which the Restaurant, Visitor program as well as the Belgian borders can open their doors and finally allow broader tourism to get back on track.

Please note though that this is subject to change depending on how the Covid-19 situation improves or not in Belgium. Closer to the reopening date we will also make an announcement for all residents in Radhadesh with regards to the rules to follow once guests start coming, such as masks, stricter hygiene measures etc, which will be done according to the indications of the government.

This gives us 3 weeks to finish cleaning and prepping up Radhadesh for its public reopening after more than 2 full months being closed. We encourage all devotees to do their best to help with this and to keep supporting Sri Sri Radha Gopinatha’s beautiful temple and community as much as they can. Don’t forget, there are still plenty of opportunities in our Garden for instance with Rick and Thibaut to do some direct contribution towards growing our own beautiful vegetables :).

Final decisions with regards to Summer Festival and Congregational Janmastami 2020 will be done around the 1st of June 2020

Encouraging all devotees to keep healthy and inspired.

Manu
