Among the rolling Belgian Ardennes lies the 12th century castle ‘Château de Petite Somme‘, now known as Radhadesh.  A rare combination of European medieval decor and ancient Eastern culture, Radhadesh therefore promises to offer a unique experience to all its visitors.

“An oasis of peace and serenity, located in the midst of a luscious forest in Belgium, away from the hustle of everyday city life”

What can you do at Radhadesh?

Radhadesh is a beautiful community of spirituality located on the hills in the Ardennes of Belgium. The 12th century medieval castle, and the Indian influences, bring about a unique experience.

We offer daily tours in three languages, French, Dutch and English. You can book your tickets and get a feel for what you can expect from our guided tours page.

Aside from the castle we also accommodate the only pure vegetarian and vegan restaurant in the area. Serving you many delicious first class meals daily and also snacks made to perfection.

The Museum of Sacred Arts delivers a view into the windows of Eastern art. In the giftshop you can find many trinkets, clothes, kitchenware and toys.

Would you like to stay a few days looking over the forests neighbouring Radhadesh, watching our cows graze, and have some peace from the commotion of city life? Then the Retreat Centre is the place to go for you.

Last but certainly not least, Radhadesh is host to the wonderful artisanal bakery from our local residents. We have a variety of delectable sweets and savouries to suit every taste bud. Feel free to surf around our newly renovated site, and let us know if we can help you in any way.
